Wentworth Hotel

Katie Smith wanted a custom Lego set, one specific to her wedding location: The Wentworth Hotel in New Hampshire.

This is one of the coolest commissions I have done so far and I couldn’t be happier with the final product!

It is a façade of the front of the hotel, capturing what you see when you first arrive to this extravagant building.

My favorite bits that stay true to the original venue are the columns supporting the roof above the first floor.

You will also find small accuracies to the original building, like flower pots, a chimney, and window columns on the second story.

The biggest challenge for this piece were the triangular roofs. Making them stable and fun to build was the hardest part of the build.

You will find that not all of the details are exactly the same as the original.

For instance, there is no flag pole and a few windows are missing, especially on the tower on the right side.

Regardless, I did my best to recreate this feat of architecture as faithfully as possible!

Katie, I hope you enjoy your Wentworth set as much as I did making it! Thank you very much for this amazing opportunity.
