Triple Tea Light

Diwali is a magnificent celebration of light over darkness, reflected in the tradition of being a very candle heavy event!

Mitali Ruths has a colorful and educational book sharing what Diwali is all about. Click Here to check it out!

She reached out and requested a series of Lego tea lights where she could display some electric candles.

Perfectly to scale with a small candle, these three tea lights each shine in their own way.

The golden flower tea light is the boldest of the three, containing swirly pieces on the edges perfectly fit together to form five pedals.

The magenta flower uses the same pentagonal technique as the golden one. While the simplest of the three, it has a lot of charm.

The peacock tea light is the tallest and most technical of the three, using the Lowell Sphere method. I utilized purple, red, and a little more gold to give it that sense of royalty.

Fun Fact: The feathers on the peacocks tail are actually palm tree leaves!

This project was a joy to work on and I want to thank Mitali for being an absolute breeze to work with on this commission!
