Kobe

After all the lives lost due to the current global pandemic and civil rights unrest happening in our country, it’s hard to remain hopeful and optimistic.

Naturally, I wanted to create something that would help unify everybody, but for the longest time I didn’t know what to make.

Then I remembered a beloved individual we lost. Kobe Bryant was and still remains my hero and I know I’m not the only one who feels this way.

His achievements as a Laker, a Black Mamba, a coach, a husband, and as a father inspires the world to strive for greatness even when facing adversity.

Hearing the news the day he passed was devastating.

Kobe always seemed untouchable and I didn’t think it was possible that he would be added to the list of idols that we lost too young. I still can’t believe he’s gone.

I dedicate this mosaic to Kobe, Gianna, Natalia, and Vanessa Bryant. I also dedicate this build to the Lakers Nation, the Black Lives Matter community, and all who are inspired by his accomplishments, work ethic, and courage.

Even though he’s gone, I believe that he would want the world to continue to strive for love, peace, and for everyone to be the best versions of themselves.

“The most important thing is to try to inspire people so that they can be great in whatever they want to do.”

Gone, But Never Forgotten
