Ryan Gosling

Early on when I started getting more into pixel art, I wanted to challenge myself to design and build a mosaic in only one day!

This was the result.

Ryan Gosling has always been one of my favorite actors, from his classic roles in well known rom-coms, to his legendary roles in Drive and Blade Runner 2049.

I am always enamored with his performances, especially when he harnesses his more dramatic side.

I think I was drawn to him with this challenge because I watched Place Beyond the Pines a few days before doing this.

I tried to make this as small as possible, using a 15 by 15 inch canvas as to not sacrifice detail by making it too tiny.

I plan on making more of these quick portraits featuring celebrities in the future as they are tons of fun!
