Dean and Gabi

Every parent wants to capture their kids in a timeless portrait. In the case of Jodi Sandler, she wanted to take that idea to the next level!

Dean and Gabi, her children, are the main focus of this mosaic combined with a vibrant pixelated blue background.

This piece really challenged me to get in touch with freehand pixel art when it came to touching up the wavy hair, the eyes, and the background. I couldn’t be happier with the result!

Seeing Jodi’s overjoyed expression when she saw the completed portrait for the first time was priceless!

Ultimately, that reaction of joy and amazement keeps me motivated to keep doing what I love.

Jodi was a breeze to work with and I hope Dean and Gabi enjoyed being featured in a mosaic for the whole Sandler family to enjoy!
